6. GUNUNG KINABALU, SABAH

It located in our country,Malaysia.. I thought every one really know about this place.. It is the most interesting and adventure place in Malaysia.
Kinabalu National Park, located in the west coast of Sabah, Malaysia, is the first national park in the country and is also the first ever designated World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The park is home to a variety of birds, insects, mammals, amphibians, and reptiles, but what would be most memorable is if you would encounter some of the strange endemic species in the mountain such as Nepenthes rajah (an “insect-eating“ pitcher plant species), Kinabalu Giant red leech, and Kinabalu giant earthworm.
Mount Kinabalu, one of the highest mountains in Southeast Asia, is the main attraction of the park. Tourists can go hiking to the mountain summit, usually beginning their climb at Timpohon, but they can also use an alternative route, the Mesilau Trail. Beside that ,The Sabah Tourism Board suggests other fun activities for visitors to try including single- or multi-pitch sports climbing, rappelling, and rope ascending. In addition, climbers worldwide converge here every year for the Mount Kinabalu International Climbathon.
But if you’re looking for a less physical activity, you may want to drop by the Kinabalu Natural History Gallery. The gallery exhibits the flora and fauna as well as the terrain of the park. You may want to visit the gallery first to get a feel of what you will encounter should you decide to make the ascend Mount Kinabalu's summit.
So.. if I got the chance to be there, I will go..
